Summer's definitely over now - since I'm finally on vacation. I thought I would finish on thursday but then Maren from the office called me, as soon as my mobile reached network connection on thursday: Hi Herdis, vow, you're on holiday, congratulations. Btw, are you doing anything saturday? Cause we need a guide for this day tour...
But now I'm finished, - at least for the summer season.
Cause you know summer's definitely over when you start wishing you had brought the down jacket, and when the puddles are iced when you crawl out of your tent...

So, off for a summer holiday - in Greenland. Going to visit Quentin like I'd promised for the third summer in a row. Now I've finally booked the tickets. I'm leaving the day after tomorrow (30/8), staying for a week or so.
Would have been cool to leave tomorrow and add one country to my birthday-country-list, but then again, my mum's gonna bake me a cake tomorrow - how can you turn down such an offer?

Then what?

Well, there's such a lot of world to see...
My new years resolution will already be fulfilled on monday when I leave Europe for the first time in my life. But I probably won't leave it at that. I've promised to visit people in the old world and the new one: Denmark, England and USA are on my to-do-list. Then I'll just go where life takes me. If that means working in a ski hotel in Austria or fishing herring in the arctic seas or mountaineering in the Andes, I don't know yet.
We'll see.
